Your health data, in plain English.
What Aktyve keeps, where it's kept, and who can see it. This is a short summary, not a legal privacy policy.
What Aktyve keeps
- What you log in the app: workouts and sets, food, weigh-ins, measurements, progress photos, plans and targets.
- What you allow it to read from Apple Health: steps, active energy, exercise minutes, workouts, weight and food that other apps have written there.
- Your account: the email address of the account you sign in with, and how you use Aktyve (on your own, with a trainer, or as a trainer).
Aktyve only saves to Apple Health what you log in Aktyve, such as food, so your other apps can see it too. You choose what it can read and save in your iPhone's Health settings, and you can change that at any time.
Where it lives
Your diary is stored securely in the UK and kept in sync between your phone and the trainer portal. The AI coach runs in Europe, and it only sees a summary of your diary, never your whole account.
Who can see it
- You. By default, nobody else.
- A trainer, only if you invite them in. A trainer sees nothing until you accept their invite, and progress photos need a separate yes. You can see every time a trainer looks at your data, and remove them in one tap.
- The companies that help run Aktyve, each for one job only: storing your data, powering the coach, signing you in, sending notifications, taking payments if you pay a trainer, and looking up foods when you scan or search.
While Aktyve is in early access, we may review conversations with the AI coach to check that its advice is accurate and safe.
How you sign in
With Apple, Google or Microsoft. Aktyve has no passwords of its own, so there's nothing new to remember, reuse or lose.
What Aktyve is not
Aktyve is a training and nutrition app, not a medical device. It doesn't diagnose anything, and the coach won't answer medical questions. Estimates like body fat and one-rep max are always labelled as estimates.
